Lewis Jacob Frazee, M.D. founded the North Texas Eye Center in 1981. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology has been taking care of patients in the Plano area for over 30 years and was voted by his peers as one of Collin County’s Best Doctors in 2011,2012, and 2013.
Dr. Frazee instituted an additional clinic in Lewisville in 2003. He continues to serve his patients in both locations. Dr. Frazee completed his residency at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his Master of Science degree in physiology and biophysics and his Medical Doctorate at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
Dr. Frazee is married to Paulette and they have two children, Sarah and Laura. He is a computer guru at heart and enjoys building computers and working with technology.

He is amazing and gave me detailed explanation on crosslink. I could've been worried till now if I didn't meet him. He and his team was amazing. STRONGLY RECOMMEND
Best eye doctor!
Dr. House vibes which is what people want in their doctor. Seems like he might not be the easiest to work with, but I'm sure patients love him
Context: I was told I was pre-diabetic by my obgyn office bc of the blood test that were ran and the initial response was “on what basis” which I mean I didn’t exactly take a buzz feed test for it. Just a weird follow up question that felt like a cross examination. Other than that he was pretty fast and efficient with the actual exam though
This is an exceptional place to get eye care. They have a great waiting room, professional staff, functional rooms for specific services, great lighting, friendly staff and great doctors. I enjoy going to my appointments there and feel confident with the care and information I received.

2 hours for an annual checkup was way too long! No apologiy at all
