Lewis Jacob Frazee, M.D. founded the North Texas Eye Center in 1981. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology has been taking care of patients in the Plano area for over 30 years and was voted by his peers as one of Collin County’s Best Doctors in 2011,2012, and 2013.
Dr. Frazee instituted an additional clinic in Lewisville in 2003. He continues to serve his patients in both locations. Dr. Frazee completed his residency at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his Master of Science degree in physiology and biophysics and his Medical Doctorate at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
Dr. Frazee is married to Paulette and they have two children, Sarah and Laura. He is a computer guru at heart and enjoys building computers and working with technology.

No bedside manner, rude, and egotistical
doctor is very knowledgeable and kind, but i left not knowing what was wrong with my eyes they’re still itchy and dry feeling. he said it’s nothing to do with my eyes maybe sinuses so i’m still in the dark not knowing what the issue is. i left really confused with a lot of questions unanswered. i wish he took less patients so he could focus more on everyone. my appointment felt rushed even though i waited for 2+ hours
Very good experience with Dr. Jacob Frazee, and his personal too. Front desk everything is excellent
Dr. Frazee was reassuring and clear about my eye issue. He also for me in quickly as my issue was tome-sensitive! Grateful!
The staff works hard and were polite. I was seen on time for testing. There was a long wait to see Dr. Frazee. I did not mind the wait because he is an expert.
