Lewis Jacob Frazee, M.D. founded the North Texas Eye Center in 1981. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology has been taking care of patients in the Plano area for over 30 years and was voted by his peers as one of Collin County’s Best Doctors in 2011,2012, and 2013.
Dr. Frazee instituted an additional clinic in Lewisville in 2003. He continues to serve his patients in both locations. Dr. Frazee completed his residency at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his Master of Science degree in physiology and biophysics and his Medical Doctorate at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
Dr. Frazee is married to Paulette and they have two children, Sarah and Laura. He is a computer guru at heart and enjoys building computers and working with technology.

2 hours for an annual checkup was way too long! No apologiy at all
Very competent and very personable
My husband and I have gone to Dr. Frazee for 20 years. He will fix any eye problem - big or small. Highly recommend.

He was very knowledgeable and immediately put me at ease. I felt knew I was in good hands. I would refer him to any friend.
Knowledgeable, thorough, wasn't rushed, answered questions. Office staff was a bonus, all paperwork can be completed in advance, only 2 day wait for appointment.
Good too see Dr Frazee again. Very thorough for the test that he did
Arrogant and condescending
In my opinion, an important part of healing and or staying healthy is having confidence in your healthcare provider. Every step of Dr. Frazee’s processes during my eye examination reassures me and builds my confidence in him. Thank you for taking my health as seriously and professionally as you do.
