I know that Dr Remia is top notch in terms of his technical and surgical skills. Ultimately, however, a successful orthopedic outcome is dependent not just on the surgery itself but on the post-op protocols…and that is where my experience starts to differ. Technically, I’d give him 5 stars but the post-operative experience pulls it down to a 3.
Excellent surgeon kept me up to date on my surgery and explained results in lay man’s terms so important when you are trying to understand what’s going on !
Wait time in the prep area was long. However once other key cases were finished in the OR Dr was very knowledgeable, and put me at rest about risks with the procedure. The outcome was terrific. Left the surgery center with no cane and no pain from my meniscus and arthritis scraping procedure.
