Dr. Leandro A. Bernardo, M.D., FACP, previously worked for Oswego Hospital between 2012-2017. He served as Chief of the Department of Medicine in 2017. Since then, he has worked as a Senior Hospitalist at Newark Wayne Community Hospital and Geneva General Hospital.
Dr. Bernardo earned his Doctor of Medicine, Cum Laude, in 2005 from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. He then completed his Internship, Residency, and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital of Maryland, an affiliate of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2011. He subsequently did a Fellowship in Nephrology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2012.
