She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. She received her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. She completed her General Psychiatric Residency at the University of New Mexico and further specialized by completing a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
Dr. Rudnick's approach is to provide a comprehensive evaluation, prescribe safe and effective medication when necessary, and explore other clinically indicated therapeutic interventions. She prioritizes collaboration with other treatment providers. Her particular professional interests include facilitating healthy attachment and connection, promoting optimal development, encouraging resilience, processing trauma and loss, understanding and channeling anxiety, regulating mood, and achieving a healthy balance of mind and body. She strives for each client to feel safe, heard, respected, understood, and well cared for.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and hiking, biking, gardening, laughing, and playing with their dogs, Lucy and Waffie. A fun fact about Dr. Rudnick is that she was awarded a full-ride college music scholarship to study flute, but chose medicine instead.
