Dr. Laxmi Kotha, M.D., is a compassionate Obstetrician and Gynecologist dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care for women throughout every stage of life. She is passionate about helping patients feel informed, empowered, and supported as they
make decisions about their health and wellness.
Born in India and raised in the Metro Detroit area, Dr. Kotha developed an early appreciation for the importance of community, education, and compassionate care. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Religious Studies from Albion College in Michigan
before obtaining her Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. It was during medical school that she discovered her passion for women's health and chose to pursue a career in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Kotha completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Corewell Health-Grand Rapids/Michigan State University, where she received extensive training in obstetric care, gynecologic health, preventive medicine, and women's wellness. She is
committed to practicing evidence-based medicine while ensuring every patient feels heard, respected, and actively involved in their healthcare decisions.
Her approach emphasizes patient education, open communication, and collaborative care. Dr. Kotha believes that informed patients are empowered patients and strives to provide the knowledge and resources women need to confidently navigate every phase of life,
from adolescence and reproductive health to pregnancy, menopause, and beyond.
After completing her residency, Dr. Kotha relocated to Arizona to begin the next chapter of her career and was drawn to the East Valley's vibrant community and sunshine-filled lifestyle. She is excited to serve women and families throughout the Valley while
building meaningful relationships with her patients.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kotha enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends.
