Dr. Lauren Cooper, M.D., grew up just a few miles from SAMA Healthcare in the Parkers Chapel area and graduated from Parkers Chapel High School before earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas. She completed her medical school and residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
She has three amazing children: Collin, Ellyson Kate, and Harper. Her family are active members of the First United Methodist Church. In her spare time, Dr. Cooper enjoys being with family, traveling, and watching sports, particularly Duke Blue Devil basketball, Indianapolis Colts football, and of course, the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Dr. Cooper loves the diversity of family medicine and being able to take care of people of all ages. As a native of El Dorado, she is proud to serve her hometown.
