Dr. Lauren Cooper, M.D., graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s Hospital.
She earned numerous awards during her post-secondary, medical, and residency education, including Dean’s List, Auburn University, and Meharry Medical College, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, William Randolph Hearst Scholarship, and Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine Residency Program Award for Excellence in Obstetrics. She also served as Education Chief during her University of South Alabama OBGYN Residency.
Dr. Cooper fell in love with Fairhope after being introduced to the town. She has a passion for women’s health and serves as an advocate for her patients.
