She remained at Washington University to complete a fellowship in hand and peripheral nerve surgery, with an emphasis on microsurgical techniques and extremity soft tissue reconstruction.
She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors society and is board eligible by the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Bechtold enjoys spending time with her husband and son, reading, and being active outdoors.
