Very personable and friendly. Informative about my condition. Explained the different treatment options but stated tennis elbow is very hard to treat. While I appreciate that she set realistic expectations, I left feeling like I didn’t have many options for pain relief and felt defeated.

Dr. Lauren Bechtold, M.D., was raised in Post Falls, Idaho. She attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID, graduating with Bachelors of Sciences in Microbiology and Psychology. She earned her medical degree at the University of Washington in Seattle before moving to the midwest to complete her residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University in Saint Louis, MO. She remained at Washington University to complete a fellowship in hand and peripheral nerve surgery, with an emphasis on microsurgical techniques and extremity soft tissue reconstruction.
She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors society and is board eligible by the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
