My son saw her too. He is in college and was having shoulder pain and left knee clicking . She too care and time to examine him and then explain the x rays and her diagnosis. He will just need to do exercises she gave us . For myself I have the arthritis in my knees. Since I'm still young she gave the cortisone shots. But wanted me to try a three series of liquid shots ,which will help the cartilage. Those are being ordered for next visit. Again she was very kind and explained so well my diagnosis. Highly recommend Her to anyone!

She was nice and prompt.Good bedside manner. But she didn’t really “LISTEN” to ME. I was there for a possible right knee meniscus tear. I gave her a disc from my MRI. She came in the room told me that I do NOT have a tear and that she wants to examine me. Upon examination, she was moving my knee cap around, which was starting to cause more pain and she didn’t even focus on feeling the meniscus area and i kept telling her that hurts. “I said I it’s torn. I can’t wait till we get the radiology report back.” She said she would be completely shocked if the Radiologist says it’s a tear. One day later, I received the report from patient portal. I most definitely do have a tear, So, I found another orthopedic surgeon that’s more than willing to help. It’s so frustrating being sick or hurt and feeling like you’re dismissed by the people that you’re supposed to trust for your healthcare.

Dr. Wiegand saw me for an injured knee possible meniscus tear, and she was very thorough in her examination and in the explanation of the x-rays and what I could do to move forward with healing. I felt she was very considerate and did not rush me out of there and was very patient with all my questions. I really liked her and look forward to seeing her in the future with a follow up.
