Dr Matsen Ko is easy to talk to and is fast and efficient in both office visits and surgery. I only took pain pills one day and have no restrictions 6 weeks after surgery. I would recommend Dr Matsen Ko To anyone considering hip replacement!

Very brief encounter. Spent most of her moments typing. Never looked at paper work I’d been asked to complete as new patient. No comments about relieving current serious pain. No detail on tests she ordered although she named the type.

Had my 4 week post op for my left hip replacement today, was greeted with a hug! Dr Matsen Ko is awsome. She is a very good listener. It is very obvious that she takes extreme care while doing the replacement based on how fast I healed and the lack of pain. Would most defiantly recommend her to anyone in need of a new hip.

She strives to give each of her patients highly personalized treatment, just as she would want for a member of her own family. She has two years of advanced training in minimally invasive anterior total hip replacement, total knee replacement, revision total hip and knee replacement and fracture care. She is dedicated to getting her patients back to the activities they enjoy.
Born and raised in Seattle, Dr. Matsen Ko was excited to bring her medical and surgical training back to Seattle to join her husband, Dr. Kevin Ko, in practice with Orthopedic Physician Associates. In her free time when she’s not helping patients it is likely that she’ll be enjoying the outdoors with her new son, extended family and friends. She particularly enjoys running, cycling, mountain climbing and backcountry skiing.
