The doctor was very negative about my still wanting to have children at the age of 43. She told me I will not be able to carry children naturally and that IVF is very expensive. I do not have infertility issues though so I understand her thoughts about age but it's not a total impossibility which is what she said. I appreciate her for helping to look for a solution to my heavy monthly menstrual cycles, but many women have children naturally into their late 40's. I will finish up being treated for heavy bleeding then will find another OBGYN who has more of a positive outlook.
