She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received both her Doctor of Medicine and Master’s in Public Health degrees. She returned to Duke University Medical Center, completing both her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology. She holds board certifications in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine from ABIM.
