This is a difficult review to write because Dr. Dunne's experience and knowledge was helpful to my son. Her course of treatment was one that sounds promising and appropriate for his situation. However, Dr. Dunne made a very offhanded comment at the end of her visit with my son that had a huge negative impact on him, ruined his trust in her and left a very unfavorable impression overall. He is an athlete in a field for which Dr. Dunne has a lot of experience. He has aspirations of playing professionally. Her comment was essentially that he doesn't have a shot at it. Considering the boundaries of the doctor/patient relationship and his young age, it leaves me scratching my head as to why she would even bring it up. He doesn't trust her now. If we see her again it will only be because I know one stupid comment doesn't a bad provider make. But the comment was stupid. I hope she reads this so it might not happen again to someone else.

Dr. Dunne is very knowledgeable however she can be rude at times. My wife saw her and said she was rude to her. Then I saw her on a separate occasion and she was rude to me too. She didn't want to hear what I had to say. She told me to hold my questions until the end at which point I forgot the majority of my questions. It's ok for a doctor not to know all the answers. They're only human. Sometimes it's helpful to listen to the patient. It might help diagnose the problem or at least make the patient feel that you care.

She just basically said exactly what the doctor before her sad about his leg! How ever it started in his foot (still extreme pain) which he favored then which caused his sciatica to start! He has had sciatica issues ! Some reason nobody wants to hear he has a foot injury !! He is being treated as sciatica issue when his foot probably caused it!!?? But she wasn’t interested about hearing about how much pain in his FOOT! with that we will never go back to OAA
