Lacks empathy. I told her another doctor told me my baby may die, her response “well it can’t die if it didn’t have a heartbeat it was never alive” very unprofessional, very uncomfortable appointment and I will not be coming back.

I was a nervous about my appointment. I seen Dr Deeney since I was 18 years old and very upset to find out he left, however I am very happy for him in his retirement and wish nothing but the best for him. Dr Borthwick was very nice and professional and I will continue care with her.

As a new patient I did not feel comfortable by Dr. Borthwicks presence. There was a failure of introduction, no background, and the energy and attitude to performing basic procedures was not the best. She almost seemed annoyed at the fact that she had to answer basic questions that I wanted confirmation on. The tone behind certain answers were condescending as if the patient is not there for a service. Due to my personal schedule and circumstances I stayed for the entire process however, I do not plan on going back.

Dr. Borthwick ofter makes it seem as if my age and the number of children I have is a problem. As if she’s the one that is caring for them . She could use a refresher on how to communicate with her patients.
