VERY brief exam done. In room 5 mins tops. Asked me very little. Not much empathy. Left with necessary script, but upset because after that visit I realized how much I missed Dr Deeney who retired from practice last year.

She was incredibly rushed and did not listen to me as a new patient. She did a procedure on me but didnt remotely inform me on the side effects nor did she listen to me requesting her to slow down and be gentler due to the pain. In fact she looked irritated at me voicing discomfort. I felt unheard and she clearly was uninterested in knowing my medical history nor in trying to resolve the problem I came in with. I felt violated and will not be returning. I cannot speak for the other doctors but donot book her if you have experience with SA or any kind of history of abuse, please heed the other negative reviews. I donot want to assume a racial aspect was in play but my experience felt highly discriminatory.

Dr Borthwick is an exceptional care giver. I always feel seen and heard with her. I'm glad to have found some one I've been able to have as my provider since I've been 16 and now I'm in my late 30s

Dr. Borthwick has been my doctor for more than 20 years. She is extremely nice, pleasant and gentle. She is very informative and receptive to question, she makes me feel comfortable and at ease.

Lacks empathy. I told her another doctor told me my baby may die, her response “well it can’t die if it didn’t have a heartbeat it was never alive” very unprofessional, very uncomfortable appointment and I will not be coming back.

I was a nervous about my appointment. I seen Dr Deeney since I was 18 years old and very upset to find out he left, however I am very happy for him in his retirement and wish nothing but the best for him. Dr Borthwick was very nice and professional and I will continue care with her.
