Latrice Allen, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Latrice Allen, M.D., is a UCLA alumni and graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Martin Luther King-Drew Medical Center Los Angeles and is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has been in practice since 2000, caring for patients in the South Bay at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. She is currently a partner and CFO for Modern Women’s Care Inc. Her practice specializes in general Obstetrics and Gynecology, high risk pregnancies, a variety of gynecologic procedures including minimally invasive surgeries, menopause, hormonal therapy, weight loss, infertility and she has a special interest in adolescent gynecology. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Allen is the Vice President and CFO for Torrance Memorial OB/Gyn Intensivists Inc., the laborist group providing emergency OB/Gyn coverage for Torrance Memorial Medical Center.

Dr. Allen always strives to be a leader in her community and advocates for change and women’s health. She has served as the Chief as well as the Vice Chief of the Department of OB/Gyn at Torrance Memorial. She worked with the Perinatal Collaborative Committee at Torrance Memorial to implement policies and protocols to improve the quality of care and safety for both mother and child. She currently serves on Torrance Memorial’s Hunt Cancer Institute Gynecology subcommittee. From 2022-2024 she had the honor of being part of the Cherished Futures Collaborative. Cherished Futures was a joint initiative involving 7 hospitals working together to create systems change to address birth and healthcare inequities in Los Angeles County.

Dr. Latrice Allen feels being an OB/Gyn is like being a part of a sisterhood and is proud to care for the South Bay community. She helps her patients to feel empowered and embrace every stage of life. She strives to offer comprehensive women’s healthcare; the goal being to tailor treatment to the specific needs of each patient and make them a partner in their healthcare decisions.

Dr. Allen is a wife and mother of teenage twins. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, traveling, dancing, going to basketball and football games, trying new restaurants and bonding with friends.
