Recognizing that many patients feel apprehensive about seeing a spine specialist, he strives to create a comfortable environment where they can openly discuss their concerns. His goal is to collaborate with his patients to develop a comprehensive, confident course of action—whether surgical or non-surgical. For him, there is no greater reward than helping patients return to living their lives to the fullest and getting them back to the activities they love most.
Raised in rural Missouri, his inspiration to enter medicine came from his grandfather, a local pharmacist. Watching the profound impact his grandfather had on the community sparked a lifelong calling to serve others. He views his medical career as a way to use his God-given skills to leave a lasting, positive impact on those around him.
Beyond direct patient care and surgery, he is passionate about the latest technological advances in spine care. He remains actively involved in the innovation and development of new implants and surgical instrumentation for various entities.
When he is not in the clinic or the operating room, he finds fulfillment in the outdoors. He enjoys deer hunting at his Oklahoma ranch and pursuing big game out west, growing and harvesting crops on his farm, and traveling to new places with his wife, Kristen, and their two children.
Dedicated to giving back, he and his wife are passionate supporters of several non-profit organizations, including Make-A-Wish Oklahoma, OKCity Crisis Nursery, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma, Fathers in the Field, and On Eagle’s Wings Farm. He considers it a great privilege to serve his community and give back to his Savior in recognition of the many blessings his family has received.
