I have been a patient at NHOC for over 30 years and seen many doctors whom have often run late for one reason or another, but when they finally were in the room with me, gave me the full time and consideration needed to address all my concerns. Answer all my questions and give a complete exam to the injury. Sadly, this was not the case today with meeting Dr. Macey for the first time.
The exam (which really was not one since I was never even asked to get out of the chair to properly gage the extent of a leg injury) and wrap-up was over before I even knew what happened…. Less than five minutes without me being allowed to ask any of the questions I had. Dr. Macey said he was going to get something and then the nurse came back in with my exit papers. I explained that I did not know he was leaving and that I had questions, but was told he was already with his next patient. The nurse did offer to interrupt him with a message, but I was just really disappointed by the whole experience.

Always easy to understand and a wonderful listener. Most importantly, he is always kind. I have seen him for over 20 years and feel fortunate he is still practicing. I'm here from Colorado visiting and they got me right in. A great group of doctors and staff. No wonder the practice has been successful. Thank you for such attention with my emergency.

He belittled the decision for me to go into a rehab. Saying that no one goes to a rehab for my condition that he was treating me for he didn’t ask if it was because I was in severe pain, could not use the toilet by myself, and could not navigate in my house by myself. If he had taken any time to ask questions, he would’ve understood why I had to go to a rehab.

Dr. Macey very friendly and professional. But spent most of my visit with the ray staff as they took multiple X-rays

Aleays takes the time needed, even if running a few minutes behind. I have been going to him for years, and am very lucky to have found someone who geta to the point and is very good.
Dr. Lance Macey is a surgeon who is continually looking to improve the accuracy and precision of his work.
“Computer assisted knee replacements have been a long term interest of mine because they bring about another level of sophistication in orthopedic surgery. The placement of the knee prosthesis is critically dependent upon it being placed in a perfect angle. The computer has allowed us to be perfect every time. We no longer have to use the old traditional methods that aren’t as accurate.”
In addition to knee replacements, Dr. Macey enjoys the rewards that come with fixing devastating injuries.
“Being a part of fixing those fractures that take people completely off their feet and make them absolutely crippled are the most rewarding for me because people go from being wheelchair bound to walking again.”
Providing an office where patients can get all of their orthopedic needs met is a point of pride for Dr. Macey.
“The nice thing about our offices is that you not only get to see the physician here, but you can have your therapy here, you can have your MRI scan and x-rays here. And we’ve done that by design because convenience is important today.
