DR. MACEY, Answered all my questions, an I felt satisfied when I left the office.

I felt rushed and I wasn't truly listened to.

Felt rushed, no review of MRI or X-rays Dr. Macey said it was "arthritis in both kneees" gave injection (in left knee). I asked about prognosis and he was very vague saying "I would need a knee replacement in both knees" and it was over. I don't even know what was in the injection. Yet I got another initial diagnosisi by Dr. Murthi from an X-ray (which he showed me and reviewed). telling me I would not need a knee replacement and he ordered an MRI for soft tissue damage I got a follow-up call from your office telling me the diagnoosisi is a "torn meniscus" I told this to Dr. Macey and he said, "mistakes can be made in a diagnosisi". I am confused on this.

I feel safe in Dr. Macey’s care. I was fearful of knee replacement surgery but now feel 100% glad i had it done.

After corresponding with several physical therapists, I confirmed my suspicions that Dr. Macey gave me the complete inaccurate advice for my ankle injury. He told me I would have to run in orthotics for as long as I keep training and take anti-inflammatory meds, and that I could never strengthen the tendon that is injured. I questioned his advice based on my own knowledge of injuries and he made me feel completely wrong and unheard. The entire session I felt disregarded, as though my concerns and questions were invalid, and that Dr. Macey just wanted to leave. He didn’t specifically go over x-rays with me nor support my decision to choose physical therapy. His information is outdated and his attitude was rude.

Dr. Macey was incredible to work with. I had a shattered ankle with many bone fragments. Dr. Macey put me back together with tremendous skill and patience. He has never rushed the treatment or recovery and listened to every need or concern I described. I highly recommend Dr. Macey and have appreciated his talent in getting me back on my feet.

He is a straight shooter. He doesn't "fluff" responses or outlooks. He is a "rough, tough cream puff".

Dr. Macey was professional and attentive to questions.,I especially appreciated his mindfulness in explaining both the condition and preliminary steps to consider before surgery.

Doctor was 1 hour and 10 minutes late for my appointment and NOT PREPARED. Unfamiliar with why I was there, spent about 5 minutes with me and said PT 3 times a week for 4 weeks. When asked if it was anything I could do at home he shouted "NO" as he was walking out the door. No chance to discuss what was wrong what we would do. Apparently too busy to do his JOB!

I found Dr. Macey to be be very personable. He explained everything about my shoulder that I needed to know.

Dr. Macey has taken care of my Orthopaedic needs for the last 15-20 years. He is an excellent physician and surgeon. He listens well and zeroes in on the issue at hand, then proposes a plan of attack to solve it. He has performed 2 knee surgeries and one shoulder surgery on me, all of which were highly successful. In addition, he’s also prescribed meds or physical therapy on issues related to my lower back which resolved pain, strength or mobility problems. I can always count on his availability, concern, diagnosis and resolution of any Orthopaedic problem that I have. I highly recommend him.

It completely cured my knee pain. Now I lie awake at night thinking how good my knee feels

Dr. Macey seemed nice enough, but I left my appointment feeling unheard and like I was just another appointment to get through before the day would end. He laid back in his chair like he had seen two dozen patients before me. I had X-rays taken, but they were never discussed with me in regards to my diagnosis. When asked to rate my pain, I expressed it was at a 7/8 (I was experiencing constant throbbing and an inability to walk without limping), but the doctor shot my pain rating down because I was rating too close to a 10 without crying in pain. He left promptly to l prescribe medication, and sent someone else in to finish the appointment. Like I said, he seemed nice enough, but I came home second guessing myself and upset that I was experiencing so much pain without some sort of validation that my pain mattered or was real.

The Dr. Always has informative information. The arches on both feet appear to have a low arch but the support on my left foot appear to be compromised. Not looking for surgury right away, the foot support seems to be helping the healing, still doing stretching and swimming. In the last week of June I has stem cell shots in my neck so I'll have to wait 3weeks before the medicine can be taken.

Dr. Macey has been my orthopaedic physician for all my knee, back and shoulder injuries, surgeries and arthritis issues for almost 20 years. He listens well, diagnosis is great, and explains all the options available to resolve the issue at hand.

He showed empathy for the pain I have been experiencing. Very nice bedside manner.

I did not appreciate that Dr. Macey chose not to wear a mask. He didn’t even offer to put one on for my comfort. I’m disappointed that I wasn’t at least advised that he would not be wearing a mask prior to scheduling the appointment. I find it unacceptable in a healthcare setting.

Felt the dr was disappointed with my progress, even tho I am doing pt and exercises at home. He was very quick with me. I had my own questions, he never came back to room to finish the appointment. Great Doctor. I had a full ACL reconstruction, and it came out great. No problem, and no complications. Doctor Macey is straight to the point and no run arounds.

He's got the best bedside manner (but he wasn't at my bedside due to Covid issues) he's refreshing & tells it like it is !! Never sugar coats anything, facts are never hidden...he's a hoot !!
