After graduating from Austin’s Westwood High School, Dr. Hargrave became a Texas A&M Aggie. He completed a bachelor’s program at Texas A&M University before going on to earn a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, where he also completed a residency in pediatrics. His residency program placed him at both Ben Taub Hospital and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.
Today, Dr. Hargrave is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and holds a fellowship with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). In addition to being a fellow of the AAP, he also:

Is an active member of the Texas Medical Association
Serves on the credentialing committees of the Seton Physician Hospital Network and Seton Hospital
Provides care to students of the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired

In his role at Pediatric Associates of Austin, Dr. Hargrave sees children of all ages. While he is also the primary care physician for many children, Dr. Hargrave also performs well visits, treats illnesses, and provides referrals when necessary.
Dr. Hargrave enjoys spending time with his three boys, traveling, fishing, reading, and listening to music. He also has a great love for Legos and can probably build a Lego car faster than you.
