Dr. Hailey is an excellent doctor with outstanding bedside manner. He is very thorough and never rushes appointments, taking the time to ensure you fully understand everything. I highly recommend him. The staff is always kind, helpful, and welcoming as well.

Dr. Hailey was in no more than 5 minutes. Recommended a watchman for my 90 year old mother. But when she asked him to explain exactly what that was, he said, " There's a chart on the wall and I'll bring you a brochure. Watch the video." He then ushered us out. Shouldn't the doctor take time to explain procedures he's recommended?

Dr. L. Shea Hailey is an interventional cardiologist at Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Meridian. He graduated magna cum laude with his doctorate of osteopathic medicine from University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri. His internal medicine internship and residency were completed at Baptist Health Systems Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama.
Dr. Hailey continued his post-graduate training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he completed fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Hailey is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention, and he is a member of the Mississippi Medical Association.
Dr. Hailey has earned numerous awards including the A.H. Russakoff M.D. Award for Exceptional Devotion and Commitment to Patient Care. He has also served on various volunteer committees, such as the Heart Council and the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.
