I just love Dr Jones, I've never had surgery but he's helped me with other things, first he's very knowledgeable, soft spoken, he listens, he really cares, he's a godly Man, and I definitely would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Jones is a really great orthopedist. He always gets my steroid shots correctly, immediately relieving my pain. Great personality also. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Matthew Jones, M.D., specializes in orthopedic surgery with an emphasis on arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery for athletes and non-athletes. For knee pain and arthritis, Dr. Jones provides nonsurgical options. For severe knee arthritis, he has been certified for many years in the Mako Robotics System for total knee and partial knee replacement. He is Fellowship-Trained and Board-Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
“I am very thankful for the privilege of caring for people with all types of bone and joint injuries,” Jones explains. ” I enjoy giving recommendations that decrease the incidence of injuries.”
Dr. Jones provides sports medicine care for athletes at several East Texas high schools and sees a wide variety of student-athletes. In addition to treating younger athletes, Dr. Jones has extensive experience caring for seasoned competitors who suffer from arthritis of the knee and shoulder, including those who are in need of total knee or shoulder reconstruction surgery.
“I have a special interest in helping competitive and recreational athletes return to their previous level of performance,” Jones said.
Since 1990, Dr. Jones has also been caring for Workers' Compensation patients.
He enjoys playing the guitar, singing praise songs, as well as scuba diving and snow skiing with his wife and three sons. Dr. Jones has also committed himself to learning Spanish to better serve his Spanish-speaking patients.
