L. Kirk Lorimer, D.P.M.

Dr. L. Kirk Lorimer is a Board Certified Podiatric Surgeon specializing in the treatment of foot and ankle conditions. With extensive training and experience, he provides expert care for a wide range of issues, including fractures, arthritis, bunions, hammertoes, heel pain, and diabetic foot care. He is also well-versed in the treatment of nail and skin conditions of the foot and ankle. Dr Lorimer is particularly passionate about caring for athletes and active individuals, helping them return to their routines quickly and safely.



Dr. Lorimer is known for his innovative approach to foot and ankle care. He blends decades of experience with cutting-edge treatments, being one of the first providers in the area to offer many new procedures including minimally invasive bunion surgery. He remains at the forefront of the field, regularly pursuing advanced training in complex foot and ankle surgery to offer his patients the latest, most effective solutions for their conditions.



Raised in Casper, Wyoming, Dr. Lorimer initially pursued education in vocal music before a required biology class changed the trajectory of his life. Captivated by anatomy, and physiology, he shifted his focus to medicine. His wife, a Registered Nurse, shares his passion for healthcare. Together, they enjoy spending time with their four married children, their spouses, and their ten grandchildren.

Dr. Lorimer enjoys attending Seattle Sounder matches, long bicycle rides and backpacking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Later in life, he took up running and has since completed numerous 5K and half marathon races. Dr. Lorimer and his family cherish the natural beauty of the region, from its majestic mountains and forests to its iconic waterways—and yes, even the rain.
