Dr.Piwonka, is a great eye specialist. I am so happy to have him as my doctor. He explains, as a lay person can understand and takes time to answer your questions.

I didn’t experience him as a good listener. I had to say, please let me finish what I’m saying.

Dr Piwonka was very thorough in his examination of my eyes, particularly my left eye, where I thought I might have a retinal tear. I was experiencing flashing and new floaters especially in the center of my vision. I was relieved that it was not a retinal tear, but was hemorrhagic PVD, and my floaters and flashing should diminish over time. Thank you Dr P for such a thorough examination and explanation of the diagnosis!

My 96 year old dad had to wait over two hours for his eye injections. After riding in the car 45 min to get there then over two hours waiting then the 45 min trip home he was absolutely miserable and exhausted when he got home. Haven’t figured out who’s fault it was he was there 50 min early but even throwing that out he was still in your office over two hours. That would be difficult for anyone but absolutely unacceptable for a 96 year old. This is the second time this has happened. To set in his comfortable chair at home that long is difficult for him but to make him set in the hard upright chairs in the waiting room is cruel and painful.
