Kyle M. Kidwell, MD

Dr. Kyle M. Kidwell, M.D., is medical oncologist and hematologist committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals facing all types of cancer and blood disorders. He joined Piedmont Cancer Institute in August 2025 following his fellowship training at the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where he cared for a diverse patient population with a wide spectrum of common and rare hematologic and oncologic conditions.

Dr. Kidwell is passionate about delivering holistic care that prioritizes not only the best possible clinical outcomes, but also the overall well-being and quality of life of his patients.

A proud Georgia native, Dr. Kidwell is excited to return home to serve the community. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia and a devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan. Outside of work, he enjoys running, playing golf, and spending time with his wife and young son.
