Not a great listener. Treated the x-ray rather than listening to my complaint and thus provided no relief to my pain. I will go back and repeat myself. Sometimes the smartest guy in the room should LISTEN to the paying patient.

My visit with Dr Schluntz yesterday was excellent, as always. It has been a year since he replaced my knee. I no longer have pain in that knee and his assessment of my other knee was thorough, including our discussion of it and when/if it needs to be replaced. He is an excellent physician in every way. His easy demeanor in talking with me and addressing my questions/concerns were thorough, easy to comprehend, reassuring. I am very pleased and grateful to have him as my physician.

Dr. Shluntz is very personable and puts you at ease. He suggested exercise and ibuprofen as initial ways to correct my particular situation and that surgery was not required yet and probably not necessary until many years down the road. Should the pain escalate moving forward, he suggested cortisone shots as an alternative. I appreciate his friendly manner and his knowledge of orthopedic issues!
