Doctor Whitehead took his time with me. Answered my questions, included me in the discussion so I had full knowledge of how we would proceed with treatment. I feel comfortable in his competent hands.

Great doc. He makes it easy to talk about sensitive issues. You feel like you’re talking with friends as well as your doctor. Great staff also.

A Doctor that actually cares. So happy he agreed to see me. I wasn’t even scheduled but was in so much pain and unease about my condition. I believe he’s going to figure it out and help.

He was born and raised in Enterprise, AL. After spending most of his childhood chasing squirrels and rolling in the dirt, he transitioned to golf as a teenager. He had four hole-in-ones by the time he was 16 and ultimately finished T2 in the Alabama 6A State Championship in Mobile. He decided to pursue medicine after seeing the compassion and skill provided by a local family doctor to his grandmother.
Dr. Whitehead completed his undergraduate studies at Auburn University before completing his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL. He was fortunate to spend 5 years training at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL with some of the leading surgeons and best medical technology available. He is certified by the American Board of Urology.
When he is not devoting time to patients, he enjoys hanging out with his better half, his wife of almost 20 years. He has two precious daughters and multiple rescue animals. Hobbies include gardening, travel, medical missions to Honduras and bowhunting.
Very nice and listens to patient and caregiver.
