Dr. Sigurd son is amazing and I would highly recommend her to others. She takes time to fully review your feet problems by asking thorough questions about your foot issues, she watches you walk, manipulates your feet and then does the X-ray to help her diagnose the problem. Then she is not quick to state her her treatment plan and excuse you, instead she talks you through each step of the plan and waits to spend time answering all my questions. My only regret about seeing her is that I did not do it years sooner.

When I told her about my 2 past experiences with a short boot (both put extra pressure on the back of my calf)and the concern that it contributed to blood clots in both case she chose to use a cast instead. I think Dr Sigurdson is wonderful, but yesterday she told me that I should still wrap my foot and still use betadine but I could just use a bandaid to see orthotic. But the nurse didn't use betadine and just put a bandaid on. I thought that was a little strange
