Dr. Kristen Aversa, M.D., earned her medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine and completed her OB-GYN residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. An award-winning physician in private practice since 2003, she is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and heads the Ultrasound Division at Generations Ob-Gyn. Dr. Aversa specializes in menopause, PCOS, and contraception, prioritizing long-term patient relationships to support women through every phase of their reproductive lives.

Dr. Kristen Aversa, M.D., attended Yale University where she earned a BA in Psychology. She then graduated from the Yale School of Medicine and went on to her OB-GYN residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. Since 2003, Dr. Aversa has loved being in private practice in the greater New Haven area. She received the Yale Medical School Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology Award, the Patients’ Choice Award in 2010 and 2011, Compassionate Doctor Award in 2011 and the Hope After Loss Compassionate Care Award in 2021. Dr. Aversa is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine. She is a Clinical Instructor at Yale New Haven Hospital, served on the Yale New Haven Hospital Medical Board for 2 years, and she heads the Ultrasound Division at Generations Ob-Gyn.
In addition to her love for general obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Aversa’s particular interests include menopause, contraception, PCOS, infertility workup, and surgical labiaplasty. First and foremost, however, she is very passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients and helping them through every phase of their reproductive lives.
