After losing my brother to heart disease I went to Dr. K to get a good check-up. He also put 2 stints in my brother during one of his ER visits. He was amazing during this time and so caring and so informative. I look forward to having him look over my heart health and HIGHLY Recommend him to any and everyone.

Dr. Krishna Nagendran joined Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 2014 as an interventional cardiologist.
Dr. Nagendran earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Sri Ramachandra Medical College in India. He completed his internal medicine residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his general cardiology fellowship, heart failure/transplant fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he was also named chief cardiology fellow. Dr. Nagendran has also received many awards, including the New York Methodist Administrative Award and the Best Teaching Resident Award.
