This doctor saved my life. He and his team are excellent and they somehow work around my anxiety and keep me breathing. I am a heart patient who suffered a widowmaker in June of 2023. It took 5 stents to open my 3 vessels. I definitely met God during the surgery.

Dr. Krishna Nagendran joined Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 2014 as an interventional cardiologist.
Dr. Nagendran earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Sri Ramachandra Medical College in India. He completed his internal medicine residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his general cardiology fellowship, heart failure/transplant fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he was also named chief cardiology fellow. Dr. Nagendran has also received many awards, including the New York Methodist Administrative Award and the Best Teaching Resident Award.
