Koen is very thorough in his exams, also takes the time to explain his findings and course of action on the next steps to solving your vision problems. He has a positive attitude to go along with his people person personality lastly he's very well mannered. Loved our visits with him.

Dr. Elswick is very patient and kind , takes the time to answer all my questions in a way that i can easily understand. Dr. Elswick took care of me after cararact surgery in Kingsport saving me trips back to Kingsport for my post op checkups. I would highly recommend him to my own family. Excellent care here at home!

Specialization : Dr. Elswick specializes in family optometry for all age ranges and does some vision rehabilitation work. He enjoys continuing to learn about new and relevant treatments to provide the best possible care for his patients. He is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Virginia Optometric Association.
Interests : Dr. Elswick enjoys staying up to date on the latest technology as well as playing video games, finding the next great TV show, and spending time outdoors. He also loves food; you will likely find him and his wife at one of the area’s fantastic eateries on the weekends!
