Very professional 10 stars. An more
Dr Poehling -Monaghan has an impeccable bed side manner, very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Highly recommended.
Very kind and helpful
Dr Monaghan although having a warm bedside manner, looked at 3 X-rays taken standing, not even semi bent or anything. She recommended no brace and 6 weeks worth of physical therapy and then to come back in 6 weeks. I went to have a 2nd opinion because neither my husband nor I were comfortable with the diagnosis. At that 2nd opinion, I was told I needed to go to a trauma surgeon immediately and have surgery. I was put in a hip to ankle locked brace and sent for a STAT CT scan at the hospital. Imaging we were told by Dr Monaghan were unnecessary. I should already be recovering from surgery, when now I’m having to go to shock trauma to have surgery after a longer wait because I was told I did not require surgery. Next time, don’t let workers compensation shy you away from proper patient care. I didn’t do anything to cause my injury but was treated poorly because of how it needs to be paid for. By not ordering those extra images, you put my healing at risk.
Always highly skilled and personable!
I feel that the Dr truly cares. Sad I broke my hip , but I am very happy is Dr Kristen is my new surgeon.
