"At 7, I really liked digging and thought I was going to be a ditch digger but that professional goal didn’t last very long. My Mother was an orthopedic surgeon and in Junior High, I decided that I too wanted to be a doctor. I thought I’d go into primary care until my third year of medical school when I realized that I wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon, too. I think it was the opportunity to fix things.
