Dr. Okafor is an excellent surgeon, but his manner is brusque. It is obvious when he is repeating information by rote and did not appear to have time to listen to the patient or take questions.

Dr. Okafor was extremely professional and helpful . I will continue to see him as long as I can. He just moved to the Denver location from Lakewood and that a long commute and I don't have a vehicle.

A rare find in a dr these days… Dr. Okafor was thorough, thoughtful, kind, patient, and informative. He was brilliant and saved me from a major two part surgery that was being recommended and he offered me an option that was never given by my other glaucoma dr. After a 10 minute surgery I was back to life better than before.

Dr. Okafor is kind, knowledgeable, compassionate. I feel that I receive the best of care and advice about my eyes from Dr. Okafor--peace of mind about that part of my life, at least.

Slow down, you're patients are probably 3 times your age. You are creating more anxiety when you talk at them and through them. Slow down.

He finally got through my thick skull! Lol. With lupus your mind doesn’t always see things as clearly as you should. That he was wonderful and patient so I thank him for that. I give him 10 stars, even though it only says five.

This is the only space for comment. The following is NOT about Dr Okafor, but about your practice.. After a smooth check in and eye test, I sat in an empty room and waited for over an hour for the doctor to come in. Only one person checked on me to confirm my name and gave me no other information. Once Dr Okafor was in the room your computer server was down and he was unable to access relevant history for me. Hence the information he was able to give me was incomplete. I have glaucoma, so it is especially worrisome not to get all the information I need as to its progress. I hope in future these office problems will be solved. Dr. Okafor is excellent and Kody his assistant/partner is fantastic. Unfortunately, the admin staff leave a lot to be desired. My first appointment was at a new location that I wasn't notified about, so I went to the wrong location. When I arrived at the new location (still on time) I was told my appointment was canceled but they forgot to notify me (despite sending reminder texts that it was still on). I tried again a month later. I had to wait 45 mins for my second appointment because I was accidentally not signed in after checking in at the desk.

This is the 2nd time I've been kept waiting an inordinately long time. Appt was at 10:30 - I left at noon. Dr. Okafor is a bright, quick professional. I'm sure he knows what he's doing medically, but he's always rushed and I am not pleased with long waits for routine apptments that are scheduled months in advance. I'll try once more, but if this type of experience continues, I may be forced to look elsewhere. Apologies for long waits are nice, but they don't eliminate the time wasted in your office. Thx.

Dr Okafor is great but the wait times in the office are bad

I was disappointed with the doctor when he came in to examine room not knowing what I was there for, and the recommendations differ from his previous visit. Examination was incorrecting done so I have to go back. Also, there's an error as to my using Glaucoma eye drops in the 6/6/23 record. I have not used the eye drop but artificial tear drops.

Dr. Okafor is great. So glad I switched to him. The previous ophthalmologist I had never even mentioned that I needed cataracts removed. Last time I went in to see him, I had accidentally been scheduled with Dr. Okafor, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I am so thankful for him as I can now see & am being treated for my glaucoma by a doctor who knows what he is doing.
