Kimberly attended medical school at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Following graduation, she moved to Richmond to attend the Medical College of Virginia for her Internship and Residency in Pediatrics. At the end of her residency, she was appointed Pediatric Chief Resident. At the completion of her chief resident year, Dr. Phillips worked at MCV as an Assistant Professor and Director of the residents’ clinic. Dr. Phillips is board certified in Pediatrics, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

At the completion of her chief resident year, Dr. Phillips worked at MCV as an Assistant Professor and Director of the residents’ clinic. She left MCV to join Richmond Pediatrics in March of 2004. Dr. Phillips is board certified in Pediatrics, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She enjoys travel, skiing, water sports, reading, and spending time with her family. She is married and has four daughters.
