Dr. Phillips has been my daughters’ pediatrician from the time that they were infants to teenagers now. Her bedside manner throughout the years has been remarkable. She has always taken the extra time to fully address any question I ever had, and we’ve also had very pleasant experiences the nurses.

Our 3 day old had his first visit. Upon doing his check up, the staff member took his temperature and advised it was low. The doctor told staff that we could not leave until his temp was at 97. We started skin to skin and ended up being told to sit infront of a space heater to get his temperature up. We were stuck in the room for 2.5 hours until finally being told we could leave. The baby was later admitted to the hospital at VCU for 48 hours.
