Dr. Kieran Hynes, M.D., grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, he received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. He completed his internship in general surgery and subsequent residency in urology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Hynes’s interest in urology is fueled by his passion for the specialty’s diverse pathology and the opportunity to build long-term, deep connections with patients and their families.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Hynes enjoys cooking and attending live music events across various genres. He is a die-hard supporter (and part owner!) of the Green Bay Packers. He also treasures spending quality time with his family and two dogs.
Dr. Hynes is certified by the American Board of Urology. He's an active member of both the American Urological Association and the Mississippi State Medical Association. Hospital privileges include Baptist Medical Center and River Oaks Hospital.
