First time I had met Dr. Ajib. He was very nice and cordial. I have been a patient of AUC over 40 years and mostly with Carl Hancock. Things are different now since Hancock retired which is inconvenient to patients. Examples are you don’t feel it necessary to do a digital exam if we are my age. Dr. Ajib did one on me at my request; however, I thought it was a bit much to need a nurse to observe. Also, you no longer bother to mail the patient a copy of the PSA results. I know you will put it on the portal; however, I give a copy of the results to my Internist for my file. So, my overall thoughts are that unless I have an issue with my prostate, I can get my PSA checked at my Internist’s office and save a trip to Albany. As a retired banker, I was trained to provide customer service rather than doing less . I realize the medical practice is more interested in units rather than customer service, but this change is unfortunate. That’s my opinion. Thank you.
