I had to have an operation to fix a pinched nerve in my neck. I was understandably nervous about the procedure because I hadn't had an operation since I was six. Dr. Sharif patiently answered all my questions, didn't pressure me into the operation, and recommended less invasive measures first. I'm now three weeks out from the operation, and am considerably better. I noticed the difference when I could sit for longer periods at my desk without pain. I'm still three weeks out until I can do more exercises, but I'm optimistic.

Dr. Sharif was great, except he was 50 minutes late for my appointment. Staff not so much. Lied to twice that I would see Dr. Sharif, made me see his PA instead. I had to cancel my 2nd appointment. That they booked with PA. Then had to wait weeks again to see Dr. Sharif. Real lack of communication. They don't tell you things ahead of time that you need to know. Very maddening!

Our consultation with Dr. Sharif was informative and direct. I liked him a lot. We asked a lot of questions and he took the time to anwer them all. He gave me my options for dealing with lower back stenosis of L4 & L5. Minimally invasive surgery is needed, which involves no major cutting or down time. I was happy about that, at least. He did give an option to try epidural injections, which may or may not help. He gives options to you and the rest is up to me. Thank you, Dr. Sharif.

Dr Sharif has given me my life back, before my operation,I could not stand for more than 10 seconds or walk 15 feet without pain shooting down my calf, into my ankles, toes, and the bottom of my foot would be on pins and needles, had a hard time sleeping,,since Dr.Sharif.did my operation which he called a minimal invasive surgery which he remove the bad disc and fuse the L4 an L5 with 4 screws, the next day they got me up put a back brace on and I was able to walk with no pain, I just had a 4 month visit with him everything looks good, Dr Sharif has given me my life back, I’m back working part time again and in 6 weeks of practice with my golf clubs, I be able to golf agai, and to let you know I’m 84 years old and very healthy, I highly recommend Dr. Sharif a very nice man to deal with, Again I’m. very happy patient,D Ching

The only bad thing I can say because I really like him but I would be remiss to not mention that after surgery he did not see me in the hospital and he and I were both there for two straight days. His PA saw me and told me that the surgery was difficult and I might need a follow up surgery. 2 weeks later on my follow up appointment all was explained but it was a long wait.

Then he told me he wasn’t going to see me for the other two appointments I was forced to split my back evals into. I can read an MRI report and I want to get a better answer for the excruciating pain than just go get more pain meds.

The first thing out of Sharif’s mouth was “why are you here”. I came to see Sharif because I needed a 2nd opinion on a spinal stenosis diagnosis, and I was experiencing some odd symptoms that I can’t seem to pin point the cause. I was in the middle of telling Sharif the symptoms I’ve been experiencing, such as feeling malaise, and having pins and needles (paresthesia), and he interrupted me asking “why are you using such medical terms, such as malaise, most people just say that they don’t feel good. Unless you’ve been reading a lot”. We’ll needless to say I felt Sharif was either offended by me using these terms, or was offended by me reading a lot. The one thing was clear - Sharif was more interested in my usage of medical terms than he was on my bizarre symptoms. I needed a doctor to listen and try and help me figure out if there’s a connection to the stenosis and my symptoms, which he seemed impatient, and or annoyed by my presence. He never told me the results of my X-ray.

I came to see a doctor who can help me with my neck and back pain issues. I waited almost two hours to even be seen. I literally saw him less than 10 minutes and all he offered was pain management based of one MRI for my neck. I needed to know why my lower back hurts as well. He basically told me he couldn’t tell me anything without my primary ordering an MRI. Isn’t he a spine doctor ? Can’t he order those type of things as well ? Why do I have to go to a primary doctor for an MRI when my insurance lets me schedule an appointment myself to this facility and he’s capable of ordering as well. My time is precious just like everyone else’s. I was responsible and filled all of my paperwork out online the night before and did the Covid questionnaire over the phone. I made sure I was there 30 minutes early. I should be given the same respect. I left so upset that I cancelled my other appointment I made for my shoulder problem. I am not wasting more time. I’ll find someone who cares !

2nd time I’ve had a consultation with Dr Sharif??Had 2 x rays taken, and I would have liked to see those X-rays??My EMG at LV Neurology showed something at C5 & C5 C6, I would have liked an explanation as to what the EMG at C 5 -6 ment to him, all he said to me was don’t have anyone do anything to your Cervical spine?? would have been informative to me after I had Spine Surgery in 2019 & my hands are still numbing more??My EMG, shows That my hand numbness is being caused because of a carpal Tunnel compression??I’m wondering why none of my dr’s never thought to suggest an EMG to determine if Carpal Tunnel might be the cause of my numb hands, within the 2 years & 9 months since I had my cervical Spine Surgery & my hands were still getting more numb by the Month?? I might have had Carpal Tunnel Surgery 2 years ago an possibly been getting relief for my hands ?? I feel Dr’s should take the time to not just say here’s what I would do , we need the details & explanations ??

In August 2018 Dr rimoldi did spinal fusion- c56 c67 no success no pain relief I had been living in excruciating pain until now .doctor Sharif perform surgery on C4 and though it's only been 2 weeks realized and much less painful existence

I do not like it, I let myself go with pain in my back and I do not value it. the nurse who translated me, I didn't like it either, a little rude

I haven't had any surgery yet, but was quickly impressed by Dr Sharif's diagnostic skills & the time he took to show me what the problem was & explain the options.

Pleasant demeanor and provided varying options for my condition and suggested his opinion for the best one for me at this time.

Doctor Sharif took the time to go over my Xray results and help me understand what I was looking interpreting my discussion bulge. I didn't feel rushed at all and asked him any questions I had concerning surgery recommendations. I feel confident he will help me have a successful upcoming surgery.

Took 3 minutes with me after waiting 1 hr and 40 mins. Basically said my herniated discs are just degeneration. He said “it’s what happens “ when they were perfect 1 year ago. Very dismissive and forgot to put in for my Rx we talked about. Was not happy at all with him. No compassion!

Dr. Sharif is amazing. He is very smart and has a great bedside manner. He did back surgery a year ago and the results were exactly what he said. He said to get an MRI in a year and we will see what if anything we can do further to reduce your pain. So we reviewed the MRI done last month. He showed me what he thought and why. He is so good at explaining the answer to your questions and explaining the MRI CD to me. He is truly working in my best interest. It is so refreshing to have a Doctor, Board Certified, that really cares. It shows in all that he does. I recommend Dr. Sharif to any person considering back surgery. Dr. Sharif is precise and exact. He explains himself very well and listens when you ask him questions. I was so impressed after the recent visit. In one year he has not changed in his great listening skills and his ability to answer any questions I had in a most perfect way of explaining his answers and making sure you understand. He is the best in Vegas!!!

Condescending. Pretentious. Can’t answer simple questions directly without referring to his credentials. Makes you wait an hour and talks to you for a couple minutes.

Wait time to see Dr. Sharif is ridiculous! I have waited as long as 2 hours to see him and if you rescheduled it was a month out. I recently had an appt. and the board said he was a half hour behind. It ended up being an hour. It is very tiering sitting in a chair for that long.

Dr Shariff is very professional and knowledgable and really listens to your concerns and provides you with plan of action. I really like Dr. Shariff.

Was very impressed with his openness and answering of questions. He was more than kind to fit me in without an appt on the word of my pain management doctor and my pain as well as a long drive for appointments.

This was the initial visit. I was waiting 21 minutes after appt. time in the lounge. No word if the Doctor is going to be late, but it was obvious. I cancelled.

Waited an hour and a half to see the dr for 3 minutes. To tell me I need to see someone else. It’s like no one cares about you when you have Medicaid. It took 3 months for this appointment, to just look at my xrays and tell me there is nothing wrong. Literally he didn’t even give me more than 3minutes of my time.

Keep waited for a 1 1/2 hours past my appointment time. Not happy about that at all. Especially when I was threatened with a late fee if I’m late or cancelled. You should be paying me for being kept waiting
