He appeared in a hurry and initially stated he didn’t think he would recommend surgery even though surgery was my only alternative .He did order a CT scan of my cervical neck area and did state he would discuss the possibility of plan for the area of deterioration. I did tell him I was in great fear of cord compression which would kill me. After CT I will make appointment to discuss further action.

Dr Sharif is one of the most gifted spine surgeons that I've ever met. He performs the least invasive amount of surgery possible. I feel blessed to have been referred to him! In addition, he's a very nice person who actually listens

I’m the Luckiest person in the world to have Doctor Sharif. He is so Genuine and has from the very first day I met him. He Truly takes the time to do what is right for the patient. He doesn’t just say. Ok you need surgery. No, he gets all the information he needs before he make The Right decision for his patients. Because of Doctor Sharif. I am able to stand and walk on my own and no pain for the first time in almost 4 1/2 years. I am able to go back to work. He’s A SAINT!!!

He’s a very good Doctor. I wish I would have gone to him first for my pain. I was in extreme pain for 4 months.
Big relief after surgery.

Dr. Sharif talks straight and with extensive knowledge of the spine from head to tailbone. Does wonderful surgery with great results.

Dr. Kevin Sharif joined Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center in 2016. He is board eligible in the field of spinal surgery and received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine as a dean’s list student in 2010.
Dr. Sharif completed his orthopedic surgical residency at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine where he was elected Chief Resident consistently scoring among the highest in-training exam scores in the nation.
Following residency he completed a combined fellowship in Orthopedic / Neurosurgical adult and pediatric spine surgery at the prestigious Norton Leatherman Spine Center under the direction of Drs. John Dimar, Rolando Puno and Steven Glassman, past-president of the Scoliosis Research Society.
Dr. Sharif, a Henderson resident, enjoys physical fitness, outdoor activities, auto mechanics and spending time with his wife and three children.
