After a long journey trying to understand a complex medical condition, finding Dr. Rufner has been a positive experience. What I appreciate most is that he listens. He takes the time to understand medical history, considers the bigger picture, and doesn't dismiss symptoms because they don't fit neatly into a diagnosis. More importantly, he turns those conversations into a thoughtful, actionable diagnostic and treatment plan. For someone like me, who has spent months searching for answers, that means a great deal. I especially appreciate his willingness to explore different possibilities, explain his reasoning, and involve me in decisions about my care. He hasn't solved everything yet, but for the first time in a while, I feel heard, respected, and hopeful that we're moving in the right direction.
