Kevin Pineault, MD

Kevin Pineault, M.D., provides compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based urologic care to the Bayside, Queens community. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in bioengineering, Dr. Pineault earned his medical degree from the prestigious Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. During his academic career, he authored numerous scientific publications across several disciplines, including urology, plastic surgery, otolaryngology, and biomaterials.

He completed his urology residency at NYU Langone Medical Center’s Tisch and Bellevue Hospitals, where he received advanced training in open, endoscopic, and robotic surgical techniques. Dr. Pineault treats a wide range of urologic conditions, including benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stones, urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, infertility, and urologic cancers of the prostate, kidney, and bladder. He also offers services such as no-scalpel vasectomy for family planning.

Through NYU’s innovative residency program, Dr. Pineault gained expertise in emerging technologies such as transperineal prostate biopsy, the Optilume drug-coated balloon for BPH and urethral stricture, and Aquablation therapy for BPH.

Inspired by his own experiences as a patient, Dr. Pineault is the first physician in his family and is deeply committed to building trusting relationships with those he cares for. He takes particular pride in helping patients feel comfortable while navigating their treatment options. Now settled in New York City with his family, Dr. Pineault looks forward to building strong, trusted relationships with his patients through personalized, compassionate care.
