Kevin O’Brien, MD

Dr. Kevin O’Brien is a native of Indiana and graduated from Yorktown High School. He got his Bachelor of Science in microbiology and then graduated from Indiana School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He did his Family Practice Residency at St. Paul Ramsey Medical Center, St. Paul, Minnesota.

“My favorite thing about family medicine is the diversity I have the opportunity to treat,” Dr. O’Brien stated.

He came to work for Woodlawn in 2005 in the Emergency Department. In 2017, he transitioned to being a Family Medicine Provider.

“My favorite thing about Woodlawn is the small-town atmosphere and working with dedicated physicians,” he said.

When he is not treating patients, he enjoys gardening and bicycling.
