Dr. McCann gave a good. thorough explanation of the condition. I don't think the pain associated with plantar fasciitis is every taken too seriously. I don't like taking large does of anti inflammatory drugs over an extended period of time due to potential harm to kidneys or liver. If one is not able to stay off their feet, and administer a hear/cold regimen, a cortisone shot would have been more helpful. I just fear this condition will linger unnecessarily, resulting in prolonged disability.

He was able to do a steroid injection today so I didn’t need to make another appointment. Very nice person and a great doctor which is why he has been my foot doctor for many years! I trust him also. We will continue orthopedic care at St. Cloud Orthopedic Clinic.

I watched a 25 minute podcast while waiting today due to a long wait. When Dr. McCann finally came in, it was evident he was in a hurry. He didn't answer my questions with much thought or thoroughly, and I felt like he just gave me a bandaid for my pain instead of trying to help find the reasoning behind it.
