Kevin Lasseigne, Jr., MD is a fellowship-trained physician specializing in interventional spine as well as physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Dr. Lasseigne focuses his practice on nonsurgical management and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries with a primary emphasis on spine related pain. In addition, Dr. Lasseigne specializes in electrodiagnostic medicine, performing nerve conduction studies for common nerve related injuries as well as the treatment of chronic migraine headaches utilizing botulinum toxin (“Botox”).
Dr. Lasseigne received his interventional spine fellowship training at The Orthopedic Clinic Association (TOCA) in Arizona. He completed his residency training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he was appointed Chief Resident. In addition, he completed a transitional year internship at Baptist Health Systems in Alabama. He obtained his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, and his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Dr. Lasseigne is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (AAPMR), and North American Spine Society (NASS).
Friendly people person, competent, made recommendations, provided resources to follow up on recommendations. Took patient lead; on maintaining diagnosis, but still realistic w/ prior diagnosis and the only way to correct it.
The Dr and his NP were excellent, from personality to professionalism.
