Dr Khalsa has operated on my spine two times. In 2020 I had surgical spine surgery on C1-C7 and in 2023 I had lumbar surgery L1-L5. Both were very successful and have allowed me great mobility He and his staff are very professional and caring. I highly recommend him as a skilled surgeon.

After seeing many doctors, pain management pill pushers, I found Dr. Khalsa. After an MRI and my first office visit Dr. Khalsa brought me to the computer and showed me what was wrong with my back in 5 minutes. He's the only doctor that actually knew why I was in so much pain and did not push opiods on me. I had surgery and am pain free. I wish I found him years ago. Thank you for everything.

Dr Khalsa is very personable and from what I have gathered has a good reputation as a surgeon. What I don’t like is that he talks very fast and always seems to be in a hurry to finish the appointment (I have had 3 with him). I have decided to have my surgery done with a different doctor at the Mayo Clinic. This was the third surgeon that I got an opinion from. My thought is that if you are in such a hurry during an appointment are you going to be the same way during surgery? The Mayo doctor was extremely relaxed, patient and answered all of our questions. I felt like the appointment would be over when I wanted it to.

I am in healthcare in a professional level also. Waiting in the waiting room over an hour after a scheduled appointment is not acceptable. In addition to then being called back and he spends less than 7 minutes discussing my surgery and just walks out of the from. Nothing indicating he was done, just left the room. This is not appropriate nor is it appreciated. I realize he is busy, however, my care, and my time are more valuable than that. Especially for a post op appointment and there are needs to be addressed.

I am disappointed that I did not receive a summary report after my visit on March 10th. It's now the 18th and I'm still waiting. Even though he reviewed the X-rays with me. I still need to see the results in writing. No instructions regarding icing etc. for sciatica. It was a very rushed visit. I should have gone straight to Pain Management since he couldn't do injections even if needed. Waste of time in my eyes and prolonged my pain further.

He was extremely personable which means a great deal. He also gave me some hope as no Dr before him ever addressed the diagnosis before. I did however feel we were rushed. Emotionally I was reeling & left without discussing a couple of things had questions about.

Dr Khalsa was attentive and knowledgeable during our office visit. I did not feel rushed. My health concern isn't a surgical one so cannot speak to those skills and abilities, but I had a positive experience in our initial consultation.

Dr Khalsa has a great bedside manners which is vert appreciated with me since I'm in a great deal of pain was surprised that my back hasn't heald after the accident on Dec 30. He did recommend me to see Dr Brad R Bruns in the same office .

Dr Khalsa moves too fast. He should slow down so the patient has a chance to process and think of any questions. I had several after leaving.
