This was my first visit to this facility. I am also a senior citizen, therefore a little uneasy. This doctor and the staff were so amazing. They eased my comfort zone and allowed me to questioned things that I was not aware of by carefully explaining my issues, the process and why certain things were happening to me and my daughter. I am ever so grateful.

I liked that he went into detail about the different lens I could choose and the fact that he explained everything I was going to need before and after surgery

Dr. Bubel completed his undergraduate education at Texas A&M and later attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern, graduating in 2015. He went on to complete his intern year in Las Vegas, before specializing in Ophthalmology in Long Island, NY where he was a chief resident during his final year. He then joined a general practice in Northwest Indiana for three years, to spend some time near his fiancé’s family, before deciding to return to Dallas.
While in high school, college, and medical school, Dr. Bubel attended global health trips to Mexico, Central and South America. Here he found his passion for improving vision both at home and abroad. Although his Spanish-skills are only mediocre, he is always working to improve.
