Dr. Patel is, without question, one of the best physicians I have ever had. I have trusted him with my care since my very first back injury, and I would not see anyone else. His knowledge, skill, and years of experience are evident in every visit, but what truly sets him apart is the way he treats his patients. He takes the time to listen, thoroughly explains every diagnosis and treatment option, and never makes me feel rushed. He approaches each appointment with compassion, professionalism, and genuine concern for my well-being. Living with chronic pain and now Multiple Sclerosis has made finding a physician I completely trust incredibly important, and Dr. Patel has consistently earned that trust. His treatments have helped improve my quality of life, and I always leave feeling heard, respected, and confident in the plan moving forward. Dr. Patel is a wonderful pain specialist and I highly recommend him to anyone. When I first saw him in 2022, I could barely walk because of my back pain. Today, I’m doing great. Minimal pain and do not need a cane.

In December 2025, I was informed that my pain management doctor would no longer accept Medicare, and I was very disappointed. My orthopedic doctor referred me to The National Spine and Pain Centers and to Dr. Ketan Patel in Haymarket, Virginia. From the moment I met Dr. Patel, I immediately felt reassured. He had already reviewed my previous doctor’s records, examined me carefully, and promptly ordered X-rays, an MRI, and blood work. He also scheduled me for a pain injection on August 5. I was so grateful for how thorough, compassionate, and proactive he was. Dr. Patel made me feel heard, cared for, and confident that I was in good hands. I truly appreciate his care and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for excellent pain management treatment.
