Good listener, took his time with suggestions and explaining what may be going on with my concerns. Answered all my questions,we didn't feel rushed and requested we come back for follow up after we tried his recommendations to see if any improvement. We really felt he was focused on our problem for the time we were there and we mattered. Great Dr!

From beginning to end the practice was wonderful. The check-in was easy, quick and the front desk staff were pleasant & very helpful. Our appt was at 2:30pm and we were in the exam room by 2:40pm. We had almost zero wait time for Dr. Heady. He was pleasant, concise and very honest about our options. I definitely will use him in the future if required. His nurse was excellent and very nice. Thank you!

Dr. Kent Heady is a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery. After receiving a bachelor's and master's degrees in physics from Kansas State University and the California Institute of Technology, he went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita in 1996. He then completed a five-year residency in orthopaedic surgery at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. Dr. Heady completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
Dr. Heady feels his role in caring for the patient is to accurately diagnose the patient’s condition so that he may educate and guide the patient in making the best treatment choices based on the available medical information along with the patient’s personal needs.
Dr. Heady is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, Kansas Medical Society, and the Medical Society of Sedgwick County. Dr. Heady is also a Clinical Instructor in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita.
