Dr. Kent Dauterman, M.D. earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo where he was Valedictorian of the College of Arts and Sciences. His most recent training includes two years at the Cleveland Clinic as a fellow in interventional cardiovascular medicine. He is board certified in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention.
Dr. Dauterman specializes in interventional cardiovascular medicine and performs coronary interventions and minimally invasive valve procedures. He helped establish the carotid stent and minimally invasive valve programs and performed the first carotid stent, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), MitraClip, and percutaneous mitral valve-in-valve procedures at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.
He is the Co-Director of the STEMI (Heart Attack) Program in southern Oregon and northern California and Co-Director of the Structural Heart Disease Program at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC). He has served as Chief of Cardiology at ARRMC and Providence Medford Medical Center.
Dr. Dauterman is married to a wonderful teacher and has two children. He previously coached a high school robotics team and is now enjoying beekeeping.
