He is a leading expert in diagnosing and treating hip and knee injuries, such as osteoarthritis, post traumatic arthritis and hip dysplasia.
Dr. Chakour uses a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach that includes non-operative management as well as surgical intervention. Activity modification, medication, physical therapy, bracing, injections and pain management are common nonsurgical treatments, with surgery as a last option.
Following surgery, Dr. Chakour works closely with your physical therapist and care team to ensure continuity of care. Your post-operative therapy plan is designed to improve pain, swelling, range of motion, restore strength, and return you to an active lifestyle.

Dr Chakour has been fantastic! He has been great to work with, taking time to talk with me both before and after surgery.
My first time going to this Doctor but my experience was very good from the front desk. When you walk in all the way to when he treats you I was very pleased with the service.
Dr. Chakour spent ample time talking to me about a knee replacement. He answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. He was my second opinion and I decided to have him do my surgery.
