Kenneth S. Chakour, MD

Dr. Kenneth Chakour is a board-certified physician who specializes in orthopedic surgery and outpatient total joint replacement. He specializes in minimally invasive primary joint replacement, anterior hip replacement, complex primary and revision joint replacement, and robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery. He is a leading expert in diagnosing and treating hip and knee injuries, such as osteoarthritis, post traumatic arthritis and hip dysplasia.

Dr. Chakour uses a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach that includes non-operative management as well as surgical intervention. Activity modification, medication, physical therapy, bracing, injections and pain management are common nonsurgical treatments, with surgery as a last option.

Following surgery, Dr. Chakour works closely with your physical therapist and care team to ensure continuity of care. Your post-operative therapy plan is designed to improve pain, swelling, range of motion, restore strength, and return you to an active lifestyle.
