Dr. Chakour uses a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach that includes non-operative management as well as surgical intervention. Activity modification, medication, physical therapy, bracing, injections and pain management are common nonsurgical treatments, with surgery as a last option.
Following surgery, Dr. Chakour works closely with your physical therapist and care team to ensure continuity of care. Your post-operative therapy plan is designed to improve pain, swelling, range of motion, restore strength, and return you to an active lifestyle.

Attentitive, amiable, efficient.
Dr. Chakour and his staff are excellent. Took time to explain the surgery process and what to expect after surgery. Made sure to answer the questions I had. Definitely recommend him for your orthopedic needs!

Excellent service
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Chakour and his entire team. On December 30th, 2024, he performed my left total knee replacement, and the results have truly been life-changing. Before surgery, knee pain kept me from doing many of the activities I love. Now, thanks to Dr. Chakour’s skill and care, I’m back to playing tennis and pickleball, hiking, and bike riding—things I honestly wasn’t sure I’d ever fully enjoy again. Dr. Chakour is an outstanding surgeon who inspires confidence, explains things clearly, and truly cares about his patients’ outcomes. His team was equally professional, supportive, and attentive throughout the entire process. I am extremely grateful that Dr. Chakour performed my surgery and would highly recommend him to anyone considering knee replacement or orthopedic care.
