An Emmaus High School graduate, Dr. Kenneth Brislin grew up in Allentown with a close association to the medical field as his father has practiced internal medicine for more than 30 years. Dr. Brislin’s commitment to athletics in high school and college along with his desire to pursue a career in medicine made orthopaedic surgery the obvious choice.
A former rower, Dr. Brislin understands how devastating injuries can be to athletes. His practice is dedicated to helping patients and athletes return to peak performance as quickly and safely as possible. He focuses on arthroscopic and joint reconstruction procedures of the shoulder and elbow, as well as arthroscopic procedures of the knee, such as ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstructions. Dr. Brislin also regularly performs total and partial knee replacements for patients suffering from arthritic knee pain.
Dr. Brislin graduated from the University of Scranton before obtaining his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine. He then completed fellowship training at the Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. Dr. Brislin is an associate Masters Instructor for the Arthroscopy Association of North America and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Brislin is active in educating medical residents and students, as well as physician assistants (PAs) and physician assistant students. When not caring for patients, Dr. Brislin enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and supporting the Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley.
