Born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, Dr. Tan is delighted to return to the Mountain West. Dr. Tan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Tech University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology. She received her Medical Degree with Honors from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She then pursued her Dermatology Residency at the University of Iowa. Dr. Tan is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery.

Dr. Tan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Tech University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology. She received her Medical Degree with Honors from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She then pursued her Dermatology Residency at the University of Iowa. She further honed her skillset by completing a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Missouri, focusing on facial reconstruction and surgical and medical management of advanced cutaneous carcinomas. Dr. Tan is committed to providing skin cancer treatment options at Colorado Springs Dermatology Clinic by offering Mohs surgery techniques.
Dr. Tan is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
In her free time, Dr. Tan enjoys hiking, playing soccer and pickleball, and exploring local parks with her husband and young son.

Very professional and friendly doctor and staff. All steps were thoroughly explained and any questions were answered.
I saw Dr. Tan for a consultation to have a squamous cell carcinoma removed from my scalp. Dr. Tan reassured me that the cancer was in it's early stages and that the procedure to remove the cancer would be routine.

Dr. Tan was quick, friendly and efficient, and removed all the affected tissue on the first pass. Obviously highly skilled and experienced. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing this kind of procedure.
