Dr. Tan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Tech University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology. She received her Medical Degree with Honors from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She then pursued her Dermatology Residency at the University of Iowa. She further honed her skillset by completing a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Missouri, focusing on facial reconstruction and surgical and medical management of advanced cutaneous carcinomas. Dr. Tan is committed to providing skin cancer treatment options at Colorado Springs Dermatology Clinic by offering Mohs surgery techniques.
Dr. Tan is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
In her free time, Dr. Tan enjoys hiking, playing soccer and pickleball, and exploring local parks with her husband and young son.

Dr. Tan is a warm and caring person. She fully explain what she was going to do and what I should expect of the results. She asked multiple times if I was doing ok or if I needed to take a break. She does excellent work. I don't even notice my scar anymore.
Dr Tan has a very friendly and helpful staff and the front desk person is very friendly and caring. Dr Tan is very professional and caring.
